What we are learning
Men with Class
We have been working on the routine,
rules, being respectful, what being a
writer looks like and sounds like, how
wonderful it is to read and jump into a
book, sorting, number recognition, all
about us, self-help skills, and much more.
Next week we will work more on friendship
and communication skills.
Dads, Grandpas, Uncles,
Our first day to come and play is
Monday, September 15th. If you can come
anytime that day please let me know. If you
cannot make it on the 15th but can another
day in September please let me know and we
will work something out! Please make sure you
have had the Volunteer training.
Classroom Needs- THANK YOU
*Please send in your child’s book bag if
you have not done so already.
*Please send in Box Tops, Campbell’s
soup labels
In order for you to come into the classroom
and volunteer it is required that you go through the
Volunteer Training. I sent out information on it earlier
this week. If you need that information again please
let me know.
I need parents to help with STAR assessments
on September 10th from 9:15-11:45. You will be
monitoring small groups either in the hall, classroom,
or playground. Please let me know as soon as you
can if you are available. Remember that you will
need to have taken the volunteer training before
coming. If you have done it for Jenks ever then you
DO NOT have to take it again!
If you have not sent your child’s photo page
back please do so as soon as possible.
*Please come in and volunteer! We love
