Provision of Census Micro Data
1) General users: the 1% sample of anonymized micro
data is available for general purpose.

on a case by case basis. The special requests are for
example:
- the construction of poverty line
- the production of population projection

5. Quality Control
1) Intensive training: theoretical and practical ( 4 days)
2) Field supervisors monitored the data collection process
- Re-interviewing (2 households/EA)
- Field editing to check for completeness
and consistency
3) Center for Census Operation Follow-up
4) Questionnaire scanning by using ICR at each province,
then a centralized editing was done by expert team
(Manual and Machine Editing)
5) Post Enumeration Survey (PES)
(Coverage error; 4% for population, 2% for housing)
26
Future Direction for Next Census
1) Try to use more of administrative data
2) Consider how to collect the data of the
following issue:
- It is hard to count people who move to the rental
rooms / residence but did not register for residency in
accordance with current living place.
- It is hard to locate the homeless people and
count for one time.
- Some people have more than one dwelling /
living place, it is needed to make decision for the most
appropriate living place and count for one time.
