handbook

UNCEEA

Main conclusions
The Conference:
• Endorsed the SEEAW as THE hydrologicaleconomic framework for IWRM
• Recommended it become a statistical standard
• Recognized that SEEAW fills a vacuum by
developing a conceptual framework for water
• Recognized the timeliness of the handbook
• Stressed that SEEAW focuses the improvement of
basic data by allowing the identification of data gaps
and overlaps
