Despite the various efforts carried by the international community to
promote and implement capacity for better chemical safety, many
countries are lagging behind the latest developments in this field …
and the gap is widening!
Today, Chemical Safety, for many still means:
 uncertainties with technical terms,
 little information about potential technical and other
assistance,
 poor knowledge of international conventions and
agreements,
Chem HelpDesk® aims to help empower countries in the South East
Asia Region via information and guidance to manage chemicals in ways
that minimize significant adverse impacts on the environment and
human health.
