A Note from the Principal…
Spring has sprung and we are enjoying the sunshine and outside recess! If
you have not had the time to pop up and see our Outdoor Classroom, please
plan on it! The Southeast Trojans are truly enjoying the space!
We recently hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon with a
circus theme and “The Greatest Volunteers on Earth” décor! Lots of
yummy food and great conversations with our wonderful volunteers.
Congratulations to Lisa Williams, our Volunteer of the Year!
Speaking of volunteers, we would like to say a great big THANK YOU to
those that served as proctors for our third and fourth grade testing. Not a
glamorous job, but one that has to be done! We appreciate your time!
This will come as no surprise to anyone that reads the paper or watches the
news, but there is a budget shortfall for public schools! Things are going to
look different in light of this budget crisis, but will not affect our dedication
to your students and the level of excellence here at Jenks Public Schools. In
response to this shortfall, our very own JPS Foundation is rolling out a new
campaign to raise funds to supplement site budgets, professional
development and classroom needs. TROJAN 20 details coming soon!
IMPORTANT DATES – Please note there was a recent change to next year’s
