Some simple steps you can take to help protect water:

Don’t throw or dump anything down a storm drain, they lead to lakes
and rivers
Help conserve water by using proper garden and lawn irrigation
Upgrade appliances like toilets and washers to use less water
Properly dispose of medicine, don’t flush it down the toilet
Practice leave no trace to keep trash out of our waterways
Don’t move plants or animals from place to place, this promotes
invasive species
Join Utah Water Watch and help monitor water quality in a lake or
stream
