Experience
Sylvia Arostegui is a partner in the Real Estate group and brings deep experience in
the areas of business, real estate and finance transactions.
In her commercial real estate practice, Sylvia assists developers, borrowers and
lenders, landlords and tenants, and investors and land owners in the full spectrum of
business, financial and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition;
disposition; project development and construction; ground, office and retail leases;
easement and access agreements; and construction contracts.
Sylvia’s significant financial and business services experience makes her a valued
advisor in all aspects of financial and lending transactions and negotiation of business
contracts, including construction financing, asset-based financing, seller financing,
mezzanine financing, loan workouts, defeasances of loans and forbearances.
Sylvia has also assisted renewable energy project developers in all of their real estate
needs.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Sylvia was a partner at Nossaman, LLP (2012-2015), a senior
associate at Trainor Fairbrook (2003-2012) and an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP
(2000-2003).
