 To allow a person immediate access to the Campus
Police Department during emergencies, William
Paterson University provides the members of its
community and its guests with 61 “Blue Light
Emergency Stations”.

The blue light is activated to call attention to the
area.
The dispatcher sends help immediately.
Is my cell phone better?
Not necessarily.
The dispatcher knows exactly where
you are when you use a blue light.

disabled vehicles, and crimes in progress.
