ESU Entrepreneurial Leadership Center
East Stroudsburg University received a $191,320 grant from the Pennsylvania State System of Higher
Education (PASSHE) to create an Entrepreneurial Leadership Center (ELC) on campus. The grant was
awarded from a $1.8M legislative appropriation to support economic development activities on PASSHE
campuses. The ELC Grant is being administered at ESU by the Research and Economic Development
Division. The College of Business and Management is a partner of the grant.
The ELC Grant includes a total of $10,000 for faculty members to infuse entrepreneurship topics
and activities into the classroom. The awards will range from $500 to $1000 for individual projects and
up to $2,000.for collaboration projects. Awards will be available from March through December 2010. The
funding provides ESU with the opportunity to create a robust Entrepreneurial Culture that allows students
across all colleges to experience the positive impact of entrepreneurship.

Management, Education, Health Sciences and Graduate College) are invited to submit proposals.
