Finding out what people think: have you made a difference?
Look at the results of research carried out by Defra and others – is your target group
represented? What do people think about climate change?
This research is general and may not give you enough information about your chosen
target group. A survey is a good way of finding out what the people you want to influence
think. If you use a survey it should include questions about climate change in general to
check what people know about it and some that are closely linked to the message you
want to communicate. Here are some sample surveys and quizzes to give you ideas for
questions you could ask.
