DECISION TAKEN UNDER DELEGATED AUTHORITY
A report was submitted on the following matter, which was dealt with as indicated by the
Lead Member for Property, in accordance with the powers delegated to him in the
appropriate paragraphs of the City Council’s Scheme of Delegation.
Salford Opportunities Centre Refurbishment
RESOLVED: THAT approval be given to the proposed works to refurbish Salford
Opportunities Centre at an estimated cost of £422,496.

EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC
RESOLVED: THAT under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the
public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business as detailed in
Minute 83 below, on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt
information as specified in Paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

Land at Peru Street, Salford 3
RESOLVED: (1) THAT approval be given to the disposal of land at Peru Street to
Salford University.
(2) THAT the stage payment mechanism as provisionally agreed with the
University be endorsed.
