ARMS LENGTH HOUSING MANAGEMENT Purpose of Report To seek Cabinet approval to the incorporation of the Arms Length Company. 2. Recommendations That cabinet authorises: 1. The incorporation of the Arms Length Company to be known as New Prospect Housing Limited. 2. The Head of Law and Administration (The Solicitor for the Council) to execute the company formation documents. Detail Cabinet, have agreed: The establishment of the Arms Length Housing Management Company (New Prospect Housing Limited). Organisational separation of functions between the Arms Length Company, and the Residual Housing Organisation. Interim arrangements. Work is progressing on a detailed delivery plan, the management agreement, a protocol between the City Council and the Arms Length Company. A draft copy of these documents has been submitted to the office of the Deputy Prime Minister. It is necessary for Cabinet to authorise the incorporation of the Arms Length Company and for the Head of Law and Administration to execute the company formation documents.
