Apologies for absence were submitted on behalf of Councillors K. Garrido, Harold,
Howard, Humphreys, B. Lea, P. Lea, Lightup, Mann, Joe Murphy, and Taylor.

EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC
RESOLVED: THAT, under section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the
public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the
grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as specified in
Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

CHILDREN’S SERVICES DIRECTORATE – APPEAL AGAINST DISMISSAL
Consideration was given to an appeal against dismissal submitted by a Senior
Residential Child Care Worker in the Children’s Services Directorate.
The appellant attended the meeting.
RESOLVED: THAT the appeal be dismissed.
