Purpose
Purpose:
Work with businesses to improve their productivity and realize profitable growth, demonstrating and
capturing positive economic impact.
Essential Functions
Function 1:
Improve Operational Efficiency/Effectiveness of Organizations by working with customers to develop
well-conceived/managed improvement processes. Duties include advising customers on the latest
techniques/best practices regarding internal/external quality, resource utilization, workforce
development, innovation, environmental soundness/financial management, strategic/operational
planning, continuous improvement, supply chain, new product development/commercialization and
measurement systems.

Function 2:
Develop proposals in response to private and government Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests
for Information (RFI). Duties include assessing operations, understanding the problem, developing
leads, assessing opportunities, and following a consultative sales process resulting in a contract that
ensures the customer engages TMAC to solve their problem.

Function 3:
Manage projects to ensure that cost, schedule and performance expectations are met. Duties include
forming the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, establishing the schedule, developing the
budget and managimg the project to satisfy the customers performance expectations. The project
manager is responsible for conducting milestone reviews and completing after actions reports.

Function 4:
Develop relationships with businesses to build strategic partnerships with customers. TMAC's goal is to
transform companies so that they can compete in the 21st Century, create jobs and have an economic
impact on the state's economy.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Engineering or a related field with 2 years of experience in process and product related
operations and project management. Applicants must include in their online resume the following

month/year), job title, summary of job duties and 2) Education: college or college degree, list school
name, degree type, major, graduated or not, and hours completed if not graduated.
Preferred Qualifications:
Spanish language fluency. Extensive experience and proven success in all or some of the following:
Operations Improvement Management, Implementing Lean Techniquess, or implementing quality
Management systems, supply Chain Management and Improvement, warehousing, Logistics, and
Transportation, familiarity with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 implementation. Instruction and coaching
experience. Professional Engineer. Six Sigma Black Belt. Lean Certified by SME. LEED Certified. Good
communication, presentatiton and selling skills. Proficiency with personal computer, Microsoft Office
and Windows 7.
