2009-10 Planning Priorities







Raise more than 1.3 million dollars for scholarships and
program enhancements during the 2009-10 fiscal year.
Raise more than $70,000 for scholarships, mini-grants &
program enhancement through Campus Fund Drive.
Work cooperatively with Financial Aid, department chairs
and deans to award 450+ scholarships during 2009-10.
Obtain gifts through on-line giving.
Increase the number of endowed scholarships.
Research and establish new giving levels.
Implement planned giving society as a proactive approach
to seeking future gifts for the college.

Formalize naming opportunities and recognition levels for
new and existing buildings, classrooms, labs, etc.
Strengthen relationships with alumni through events &
peer-to-peer communication.
Implement software modules to identify/track Foundation
prospects.
Enhance teaching/learning by obtaining gifts of up-to-date
equipment/resources to support the college’s needs/goals.
Seek funding sources for grants to provide additional
learning resources for the college. Solicit foundations in
written and personal interviews.

Strengthen partnerships by collaborating with business and
industry, public schools & universities.
Work cooperatively with community individuals &
businesses to continue providing holiday help to students.
Seek valuable professional development opportunities for
Foundation staff.
Organize quarterly cultivation functions hosted by
Foundation Board members.
