Activities / Teaching Strategies
The students will relate to prior knowledge. By
listening to each other they will feel comfortable
expressing themselves. School is where they will make
friends. They will learn in school. Let’s draw a picture of
something that happens in school. Using a concept map
will help us organize all of our answers to the Big
Question.
Students will learn to listen to and follow directions.
I will explain: In school, we have to listen to directions
from the teacher, such as stand up, sit down, raise your
hand, put your pencils away, line up, etc.
