Math in Real-Life Instead of having a traditional math exam for the 4th marking period, students will research a math topic and demonstrate how it’s used in real-life. Listed below are several topics, choose one to research. Write a one page typed report, summarizing the historical background and a brief explanation of the topic itself. In addition to the report, you will create a visual of how the concept is implemented in real life (ex. a drawing, a 3-D model, or any other visual). Students will have time in class to research and work on the project. Project is due Monday, May 2. If it is handed in before Friday, April 29th, students will receive extra points.
