History
 The company was established in 1976 as the state-
owned Southern Coffee-Dairy Company, to nationalize
and take over the operations of three previously private
dairy factories in South Vietnam: Thống Nhất (belonging
to a Chinese company), Trường Thọ (formerly owned by
Friesland Foods, best known for its production of
condensed milk that was widely distributed across the
South), and Dielac (Nestlé).
 It was then renamed to United Enterprises of Milk Coffee
Cookies and Candies I in 1978 and finally Vietnam Dairy
Company was formally established in 1993.
 In 2003, follows its IPO to the Ho Chi Minh Stock
Exchange, the company legally change its name to
Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk).
 Traded on the stock exchanges is VNM.
History
 2004: Merged Corporation Saigon milk. Increase of the
charter capital to VND 1,590 billion.
 2006: Vinamilk listed on the stock market in Ho Chi
Minh City on 19th January.
 2009: There are more than 135,000 dealers, 9 factories
and dairy farms in the northern of Vietnam.
 2010 - 2012: Construction of milk and milk-powder
factory in Binh Duong province with a total
investment of $ 220 million.

 The principal activities of the Vinamilk are produced and
distributed condensed milk, powdered milk, fresh milk,
soya milk, yogurts, ice-cream, cheese, fruit juice, coffee
and other products derived from milk.
Served areas
 Vinamilk’s products such as powdered milk and
condensed milk are also exported to the Middle East,
Cambodia, the Philippines and Australia.
 Exports accounted for $180 milliion in 2012. Vinamilk's
main competitors are Dutch Lady Vietnam, a division
of Friesland Foods, Nestlé Vietnam, Abbott, Mead
Johnson, Friso and Nutifood.

 In 2010, it is the first company in Vietnam to be
included in the Forbes Asia's 200 Best Under A Billion
list that highlights 200 top-performing small- and
mid-sized companies with annual revenue under $1
billion.

 Vietnam's State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) holds
45.1% of the shares as of late 2012. 6% are owned by other
Vietnamese investors, of which 0.3% are owned by CEO Mai
Kieu Lien.

Mission & Distribution
 With the aim of developing a most trusted nutrition
brand, in recent years, Vinamilk has being improved
the quality of products, they also focus on
comprehensive health care for children and the elderly.
 They offer products of high quality soy milk. This is
the first soy milk on the market which has calcium
supplements and vitamin D. These kinds of products
are really good for bones, healthy appearance,
endurance athletes, good for patients' heart.
