Zookeeper：Welcome to Mucha(木柵)
zoo.
Visitor：Thank you.
Zookeeper：Well, we’re going to look
at some animals that you have
probably seen in a movie, Tarzan(泰
山).
內容
Visitor：Are they gorillas?
Zookeeper：Yes, they’re gorillas, and
they come from central Africa. Can
you see what are they doing now?
Visitor：They are playing with others.
Zookeeper：Actually, they’re
scratching their family’s lice but most
time they take a rest.
Visitor：That’s interesting. What do
they eat for keeping their lives?
Zookeeper：By age of two, they are
able to reach and chew on vines and
braches.
Visitor：Wow! They are vegetarians. I
have never heard of that.
Zookeeper：You see, those three are
newborn babies. New born gorillas are
small, covered with black hair and
weigh about 2~3kg. Gorillas always
have one baby at one time, and then
they wouldn’t have any baby in next
four years.
Visitor：How long do they live?
Zookeeper：More than 30 years. In
captivity, the longest record is 54 years
old.
Visitor：I am surprised at that.
Zookeeper：They are powerful animal
related to humans.
Visitor：Excuse me. Could we feed
them?
Zookeeper：No, they have their normal
meals. Please don’t feed they extra
food. We are afraid they might get
sick.
Visitor：Oh, that's right.
Zookeeper：Any question before we go
to the next area?
Visitor：Are they dangerous?
Zookeeper：If you don't attack them,
they won’t hurt you. They aren’t as
terrible as they look.
Visitor：Oh, that’s good!
Zookeeper：Any more questions?
Visitor：No.
Zookeeper：Ok, let’s move on to
next.......
