盤古王開天 (漢族)
老早老早以前，沒天，沒地，沒日，也沒夜，全天下就像個碩大碩大的雞蛋。大
雞蛋裡頭是雞蛋黃，中間是雞蛋白，外頭包著個極為堅硬的雞蛋殼。不知道是什
麼緣故，這雞蛋黃哩頭孵出個盤古，盤古長得像雞的頭，龍的身，整個身子就像
隻盤龍雞在裡頭盤著，雙腳踮著，所以叫做盤古。盤古慢慢長大起來，沒天地，
沒日夜的生活使他悶的受不了。於是，她便把盤著的身子伸了伸，踮著的雙腳蹬
了蹬，直挺挺地站起來，然後又拳打腳踢、嘴啄肩拱地四處亂衝亂砸。打打踢踢，
啄啄拱拱地一連鬧了七七四十九日，把雞蛋殼給砸了個稀爛，雞蛋白和雞蛋黃都
流出來了。雞蛋白輕，浮在上面變成了天，雞蛋黃重，沉在下面變作了地；雞蛋
殼呢，被盤古砸了個粉碎，都染到蛋白和蛋黃裡去了。染在蛋黃裡的變成了岩石，
染在蛋白裡的就變成了星星，雞蛋白中染有兩塊稍大的碎殼，一塊變作太陽，
一塊變作月亮。從此便有了天，有了地，有了日，也有了夜。盤古呢，活到十萬
八千歲，死了，身子變成崑崙山，靈魂變成雷公，所以後來所畫的雷公都是人的
身子雞的頭。

Pan Gu created universe
Long time ago, there was no sky, ground, day and night. All the universe
was just liked a big egg. Inside this big egg was egg yolk, in the middle of
this big egg was egg white, and outside this big egg was egg shell. We
don’t know why, this big egg hatched Pan Gu. Pan Gu had a head like
chicken and body like dragon. Pan Gu became more and more bigger in
this egg. The life without day and night made him sultry and muggy.
Finally, Pan Gu stretched out his body and stood up, then struck and
kicked and pecked by mouth everywhere. Pan Gu disturbed about
forty-nine days. After Pan Gu disturbed, the egg shell became smash and
the egg yolk and the egg white both drifted out. The egg white was light,
so it floated up become the sky. The egg yolk was heavy, so it sank down
to become the ground. How about the egg shell? The egg shell was
smashed up by Pan Gu. Some of egg shell in egg yolk became stone and
the other shell in egg white became stars. There were two big spices in
the egg white, and one became the sun and the other became moon. After
that, we had sky, ground, day and night. Pan Gu was alive when he was
one hundred thousand and eight thousand. After he died, his body became
Kun-lun mountain and his spirit became Thunder God. Now, the Thunder
God that we draw had people’s body and chicken’s head.
