Joan Huang 黃浥鈞 (No. 05) English Writing III Ms. Ginger M. Lin Jan. 05, 2010 Grandpa’s Death “Your grandpa was died, dear. Go get your bag and come with me.” I couldn’t think anything when I heard the news. I was taking a computer class that afternoon when my grandparents had a car accident. My mom came to school in a hurry and she told my teacher that she need to took me to the hospital right away. I was shocked after I heard the news. The whole event was so unbelievable and it took me a nightmare. My grandparents didn’t use seatbelts, so when they had the car accident, they crashed into the car glass. Both of them were injured very seriously. My grandpa’s brain spilt many bloods; the doctor couldn’t save his life after the first aid, so he died. My grandma lost her teeth and she broke a rib, she was alive after the first aid. All of her children didn’t tell her that her husband was died, but she still realized the truth after some days. She didn’t appear on grandpa’s funeral because she was very sad. I saw my grandpa’s face on the funeral, and I had a nightmare that night. In my dream, my dear grandpa became a demon. His eyes turned red and he ran after me, so I began to run and scream. Suddenly, I woke up with a scared feeling. I can never forget the horrible dream, and I begin to fear the death. In the same time, I learned that we should tie the seatbelt when we travel by vehicles. I miss my grandpa everyday, and so do my grandma and their children.
