Negative Numbers
Students use a number line in our drama studio and run up and down it to
position themselves in the answer to a question I will have shouted out.
This gets them to physically move up and down the line and you can then
set competitions between students to get to the correct answer first. I have
persuaded senior management to let the site team paint a permanent
number line on the playground.
