There is many advertisement nowadays but do you know that the advantage and the
disadvantage of advertisement? I would like to talk about those pros and cons of
advertisement to all of you.
First of all, let me talk about the advantage of advertisement. The advertisement can
provide Information to the customer, that inform the consumer about qualities and
price of goods, when selling a new product. It helps in improvement of the quality of
the goods.
Moreover, the advertisement can provide us entertainment and Direct
communication. In earlier days customers believed on the opinions of retailers, when
making the purchases of products. With the rapid spread of media and advertising to
every nook and corner of the world, people have become aware of the various
products that are available in the same category and the freebees and benefits of
purchasing them.
Last but not less, the advertisement can Increase employment. Advertising is a
complicated task and a lot of people are involved in the making of an advertisement.
Research team, design team and many other people are required to make and
deliver it. So, advertisements generate employment for a lot of people.
Although there are many pros of the advertisement, there are also many cons of the
advertisement. Now, I would like to talk you one by one.
The first disadvantage of advertisement is that Confuses the Buyers.
the perspective of consumers is that advertisement can be misleading or make false
statements about products and services. Advertisement sometimes overstate the
usefulness or effectiveness of products and services, which can lead consumers to
make decisions based on bad information. In some cases ads may be a part of scams
aimed at defrauding consumers out of money.
Furthermore, advertisement increases the cost. It increases the cost of goods. The

customers.
Besides, it causes wastage. It is a cause of wastage of natural resources. As a results
