Second is, the advertisement inform us that what’s the new product. Another one is they using the advertisement to make us buy that product, it make us pursuit the product. The advertisement informs the consumer about qualities and price of goods and this makes purchasing easy for the consumers.The consumers are attracted by the quality of the products that are advertised. If the consumers are convinced that the quality is the same that is advertised, they continue buying.It helps the consumer to save time. As the consumer has already been the consumer is not required to spend time in getting the products. It raises the living standard of consumers.It provides knowledge about the new designs of the commodities to consumers and thus consumers consume those commodities and increase their living standard. On the other hand, advertisement also have the disadvantages. For example, it make us felt uncomfortable and also ignoring the natural scene when we go through the roadside and see all the billboard.It also create desire that we don’t need in our life, it just make us want to buy but not need to buy.It control us by motion of human being. Besides that, the strong objection and arguments against the advertising is that it is a costly function. It is generally criticized that the cost of advertising to too high and that such high cost is covered by the selling price of the advertising goods. Advertisement is considered as an indirect cost which is added in the distribution expenses. When expenses are to be increased, the selling price of the products will also be enhanced. Thus the unbalanced advertising may cause certain goods to cost the consumers more than they should. So it is regarded as an economic waste.
