ECONOMIC AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
ONLINE DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM (DCS) 2010-2011
Overview and Brief Instructions
Welcome to the new Data Collection System for 2010-2011. In this new DCS, your project
(Center/IDRC/JDIF/RTF) will be loaded under your login account. Once in the DCS, you will
have the opportunity to tell us what you did (activities) and what happened as a result
(outcomes). As illustrated below, the general flow for the project is that there are multiple
activities; and for each activity there may be one or more outcomes; which in turn may have
specific counts or dollar values associated with them (captured in the forms). Also, for each
outcome you will have the ability to add student or business information in order to tell us who
you served.
