TOPIC PAPER
DUE April 30th (500 words double spaced)
Objective:
To get a chance to survey and choose an area of Lifespan Psychology that you would like
to know more about as a potential full research project.
To learn to use Psychological data bases and Psychological library resources
Assignment:
1. Use your text as a reference resource and see what areas of Lifespan Psychology particularly interest
you.
2. Pick out an area of Lifespan Psychology that interests you and develop a central question you would
be interested in knowing more about.
3. Do a literature search and select three sources that help you further your understanding of your topic
and an answer to your central question.
4. Write up a summary of your research including:
a. Your topic
b. Why you were interested in this topic
c. Your central question
d. Summary of the three resources your found
e. What were the results of your search?
f. How did you research change your understanding of your question?
g. Would you like to go further with this research? If so why, or why not?
