Into the Classroom: Self-Critique and Reflection
Like you did for Learning North, you will need to record yourself, watch yourself, critique yourself, and write a reflection for
Into the Classroom. Remember: be kind to yourself! You are watching to learn – to notice your strengths as well as your
weaknesses.
Have you scheduled your appointment in the media center yet? Don’t wait! Remember there is no school next Monday, May
31. Also, the Media Center is usually closed on Tuesdays (the next day). That leaves only one day next week to record, June
2, if there is time available. Because of this time crunch, I will allow you to leave class this Wednesday (lab work) in order to
work in the Media Center (if you’ve already completed your PPT and your script).
Your DVD, self- critique form, and reflection will be due in class on Thursday, June 3.

Into the Classroom Reflection
Directions: Use the following basic outline to write your reflection. Every roman numeral (I, II, etc.)
should be a complete paragraph with a topic sentence, examples and details. This means that you need
to EXPAND this outline. You may use the outline from Learning North to get ideas.
I am not going to grade your grammar, but I am going to grade your thinking and how you complete the
assignment.
