Representative David Murphy – student letters career and salary and how those payments are going to fit in, that was for grants for students started out 2 year and knew that putting it through on the tech colleges made it a smaller bill and get it started and show people how it works, operating on a shoe string they are doing that as money is an issue sometimes, legislatures that would not support that and they would support the university cannot come together and did get passed, an extra million dollars in Wisconsin grants, eligible for Wisconsin grants and do not get it right now some of the legislators things going on in the university system the faculty senate at UW Madison no confidence vote against President Ray and student association quite strongly worded letter of racial issues on campus all the administrative and professors have to go through diversity issues a student arrested in a classroom 4,000 dollar worth of damage and for two weeks trying to find this person he was dodging him and finally they figured out that he would be in the class and they arrested him, they came in with guns, cost of higher education responsible, open source textbooks and would be a good idea does not

cost us anywhere else or cost us any other way. Governor the end of Jan beginning of Feb, July 1 jumped on it that could have been done dragged out and debating it and not going together he knew it was dead cannot change the infrastructure that quickly. Bourke: 250 million cut world class quality education here and valuable to me the cuts to the system was short sided what is the legislation going to do to avoid those cuts again and not cut those funding, Doyle did the same cut in one of his budgets also, when he has a change to talk to with

Gov Walker the cuts have gone far enough the original 300 million cut revised budgets from each one of the campuses, they have made some cuts, we are not going to hire there, there was a budget out there to look at, all the different campus 55 million short we need to figure out who to cut this by 55 and we got 50 million, looked at actual if you go 6,7,8 years and sometimes double digits and went into a fund that was large and legislators that were CPAs and going on what is going on with all that money. Not everyone is a business man or accountant they do not understand why the money is just sitting there. The balances are going to grow one being the tuition balance and the university can spend the money like they want his job to educate his colleagues we have to figure out that these are funds are reserved for something else. Parson: Are there conversations about freezing seg fees or is that not going to be discussed in the next budget: nothing specifically, how do you feel about that, I see the increase kind of torn but if students are willing to pay for it they are willing to pay for it. I think about that keep costs down but keep the nickel and dime under control one of the things fI think a about when it comes to education is value if you are getting a degree with a good paying job student allocation we want all the administrators to go through this diversity training, it will cost is Rebecca Blank does not understand diversity we don’t also agree on politics and putting through her diversity training will not make her a better person but cost. Berge: ACA a federal matter asked by fellow students and ask if anything will be done to remove the 25 cap, he would lift it tomorrow no authority over that, start attaching out healthcare to how we work, where we work, when some of these things were talked about to the people do you want do you think they should be on their parent’s insurance until they are 26, does not mean it is not going to cost anything, the insurance is going to charge you for it. b.

Darryl Sims, Athletic Director - rescheduled c.

Randy Hedge, Director Reeve Memorial Union – Johnson: In the commuter lounge more furnishing, state of art technology, current March over budget April

Schradrie: Mechanical and plumbing three to four, general contractor 2 to 3 not a very large number supply and demand the contractors had plenty of cannot tell you who but if we do get that contractors we will be in good hands. Bid process first coming to over by 1.1 million just the bid process underestimating could that happen again and getting blindsided again are we thinking where to get money from if this happens again, clean up that area or plumbing and money set aside.

Point of information it is troubling we had an estimate on the Fletcher project we don’t get to pick state and consistency wrong at least with Fletcher we modified it before it went out to bid and do not want to work with them in the future. Thank you for your patience and attitude.
