One day there was a crowd of
people who came to watch Jesus
teach by Lake Galilee.
“Row me out into the lake” said
Jesus to a fisherman named Peter.
He preached to the people from a
boat.
Afterwards, Jesus and the
fishermen rowed the boat out
further to try and catch some fish.

They had not caught any fish the
night before and were very sad.
But the night that Jesus was on the “I want you to stop fishing in the sea
boat with them they caught so many and become a fisher of men!” said
fish their nets nearly broke!
Jesus. And so these fishermen
became the first of the twelve
disciples.
