This is to confirm that the above student of the Western Sydney University is protected by the following
insurances while undertaking approved or recognised course related activities (including work
experience and practicums).
The University has appropriate liability protections that protect the student and the University in the
event that the student, during the course of the activity, becomes legally liable for injury, to any
person, or damage to property caused by their negligent act, related to the activity (other than
property damage arising from the use of a motor vehicle). The policy is held with Unimutual Ltd,
policy number UL WSYD 16. Effective from 1 November 2015 to 31 October 2016.
As an enrolled student of the University, the Student Personal Accident Insurance covers the student
for injury while participating in course or campus related activities. The policy is held with Accident
and Health International Underwriting Pty Ltd, policy number 0027180. Effective from 1 November
2015 to 31 October 2016.
The protections provided are strictly in accordance with and subject to each of the policies terms and
conditions.
