Miles mean money Although descending temperatures made way for biting cold weather, many drivers were revved up for the Fourth Annual BMW Ultimate Drive in Temple Monday. The Temple Daily Telegram reported that the daylong fund-raiser, held on the parking lot of Scott and White Memorial Hospital, allowed participants to test drive 2001 editions of BMW. For every mile driven, BMW will donate $1 to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.The Ultimate Drive is a partnership between BMW of North America and the Komen Foundation.Ron Coleman, general sales representative of Garyln Shelton Imports, said Temple never fails to draw huge numbers of participants."This is the fourth year we've been involved and Temple has had the largest turnout in the U.S.," said Coleman.
