CZECH YOUTH SYMPHONY CONCERT AT TC
The Youth Symphony Primavera Orchestra, one of the top orchestras in the Czech
Republic, will present a concert Saturday, Nov. 4, at Temple College.
Primavera is a classical string orchestra and is represented by 25 students, ages 12
through 18, of the primary music and arts school Na Strezine, Hradec Kralove. It has
repeatedly won first place in the national competition of youth symphonies. These
young musicians have performed throughout Europe and are touring Texas this fall.
The Temple concert is co-sponsored by the SPJST and Temple College. The concert
will be at 6 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium of the Mary Alice Marshall Fine Arts Building
on the TC campus.
Admission to the concert is free. All donations received will be directed to the SPJST
Library, Archives and Museum.
