I understand that Shannon Henry is applying to your program. Shannon has been my
student in several classes for the past year. I could begin this letter with stories of Ms
Henry’s academic performance which has always been outstanding. I might mention her
amazing dedication to family and school and her ability to successfully juggle all the
aspects of her life.
I will choose instead of these to say, were I looking up from a sickbed, I can think of no
face I would feel more confidence in that that of Ms Henry. Your program or any other
fortunate enough to enlist this fine student is lucky indeed. I strongly encourage you to
