Customized training — also called corporate education, workforce development, business training
services, contract training and many other names — is training or other performance-based solutions
tailored especially for our client’s unique needs.

We can provide customized training in a range of areas, from office applications and advanced
computer training to business skills, professional development and manufacturing
improvements.

You can chose from our selection of "standard" non-credit and credit classes or have our
instructional designers create a training class or a complete program with your needs in mind.

These classes or programs can be provided at your site or at one of our Temple College
locations, or some place in between.

Our Division’s headquarters at the Downtown Center, with the neighboring Business
Training Center, is one key option.

These two sites have fully equipped classrooms creating effective business learning
environments.

They are also conveniently located for all of Central Texas, just a mile east of
Interstate 35, at the intersection of Main and Adams in Downtown Temple.

You can choose the time of day, day of week, number of hours per session, that work best for
our organization’s needs.

A key advantage of choosing customized training is that individuals do not need to
travel outside of Central Texas for a day or more at a time to build their skills. For
instance, eight hours of training could be scheduled as two, four hour sessions or four,
two hour sessions.
This keeps the business moving and makes the learning more
lasting.

We also recognize that training is not the only solution to organizational challenges.
We can
help you determine what strategies are the best for meeting your needs.

One-on-one coaching, meeting facilitation and other organizational development strategies are
in our “tool box.”

