Description of Business Environment:
LMUK IT Services is responsible for delivering IT Services across the UK with 1700+
users operating across 20 sites.
With over 70 staff based at 6 locations, LMUK IT Services support the UK corporate
network, enterprise services, business labs and proposal suites, as well as major UK
programmes, demonstrating a variety of skills and capabilities with drive, agility,
affordability, and innovation. The mission is to offer a customer driven approach to
providing IT Services for Lockheed Martin UK, supporting both the current and future
business needs.
Specific Job Description:
This position will report to the LMUK IT Service Desk Manager. The role will involve
rotations which will encompass the full spectrum of IT support teams to provide you with
a solid foundation of how corporate IT functions operate and allow you begin building
your career within IT.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•
Providing end user support IT support to internal customers via phone, instant
messenger and face to face, whilst adhering to agreed Service Levels.
•
Assist with maintaining asset tracking database.
•
Participate in various project work as required such as software and hardware
refresh programmes.
•
Write, update and maintain written processes and procedures.

Must be a good team player and able to use own initiative

and a college/university, and enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to
skills required by the company. Performs assigned tasks in technical/engineering
disciplines e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering,
Quality Engineering.
Typical Minimum Education & Experience:
Participates in a structured cooperative educational/work program between the company
and a college/university, and enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to
skills required by the company. Performs assigned tasks in technical/engineering
disciplines e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering,
Quality Engineering.
