Murrieta Mesa High School Introduction to World Language Course Outline Room #: M318 Email: lyang@murrieta.k12.ca.us Phone: (951) 677-0568 ext. 6318 Course Objectives 1. to learn thematic vocabulary and appropriate grammar in World Languages. 2. to obtain a basic understanding and appraise the historical, social, cultural and qualities of each culture Materials: Introduction to World Language textbook and a 3-ring notebook with 4 dividers *Your notebook should have the following sections: 1. Vocabulary 2. Notes 3. Study Guide 4. Class Work . Late/Make up work/tests: Students are responsible for requesting assignments and tests missed due to legal absences. Late work will only be accepted in two weeks after the due date, but will be marked down 10%. Hall Passes: - You will receive 3 hall passes each semester, so use them wisely! You must present a pass in order to go to the bathroom. You may save the passes for credits by end of each semester. Tests: - Quizzes will come directly from homework, class work or from previous class lessons. Comprehensive tests and project will be given at the end of each chapter. A comprehensive final exam will be given at the end of the semester.
