I realize that this panel is bogus, just like the president's social
security reform bill, but for what it's worth. Neither the income tax,
nor social security, are constitutional. You probably aren't educated
enough in American History to realize that our Constitution, as well as
the revolution, got kicked off because of taxation without
representation. If the people in this country were intelligent enough
to see what was going on in government, the majority would be up in
arms over the way this government steals their money. When will you
people understand that this system will not work? After you bankrupt
this freaking country? People on bread lines don't work, or are you up
enough on recent history to see what happened in Russia? Abolish the
income tax! Use common sense for God's sake. The Fair Tax Act is the
solution. With this country as a tax haven, International Commerce will
thrive here. Oh yeah that's right, you're the government, you don't
believe in freedom for the individual or things like capitalism.
