When I became aware that the President had appointed a panel to recommend tax reform
ideas, I thought that maybe there was going to be some relief to our current income tax.
Our current tax structure is becoming more cumbersome each year. It does not encourage
economic growth. It provides too many opportunities for people to avoid paying taxes
and tempts people to cheat.
I was very disappointed when I read your preliminary recommendations contained no tax
reform suggestions but just more addition ways to increase taxes.
That was not what the President charged you to do. You have failed and wasted more of
the taxpayers’ money.
I support the Fair Tax as it was written in the bills submitted to both Houses of Congress,
not the alterations you proposed then said would not work.
I will never vote for another candidate that does not support the Fair Tax.
