Objective: Students will use PowerPoint to create a journal of an early American, such
as a Seminole, Cherokee. They will print this as a mini-book.
Creating the Mini-book:

Create slides in PowerPoint, where each page of the journal is on one slide.
Go to File, Print.
Under Print What, choose Handouts and choose 6 per page.
Print and cut as desired
Staple and then add colorful tape as a binding.

For a quick way to add each new slide,
click this icon.
Use Slide Sorter View to change slides
around. This could be done to make a
sequential number book more challenging—
move slides out of sequence. (see example
in class); do the same to change sequencing
of a story.
