LIFT Research Fellowship: Paid Urology Research Opportunity It is my pleasure to announce an exciting opportunity through the Department of Urology at UC Irvine School of Medicine ideal for medical students after their third year. We are now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 Joseph & Carol Reich Leadership and Innovation Fellowship Training (LIFT) Program in Urology at UC Irvine School of Medicine. This intensive one-year program provides unmatched training and experience in urologic research. Through basic science, translational, and clinical research LIFT fellows will gain a broad understanding of urology and will have the opportunity to contribute to the body of knowledge that drives diagnostic and therapeutic options forward. Involvement provides students with access to valuable department resources including faculty support and mentorship, laboratory space, and funding opportunities. There is a huge variety of ongoing projects available and even more waiting to be initiated. The department has an excellent track record of carrying out award-winning research projects and receiving national and international recognition at several urology conferences including the annual meeting of the AUA. For more information about this fellowship opportunity and to apply visit the website: http://sites.uci.edu/lift/ Applications are due no later than February 15, 2016 although we recommend submitting application materials as soon as possible.
