Web Anonymizer (Incognito v1.0)

Incognito v1.0, an anonymous proxy developed for concealing the identity of user and making their activities untraceable on the
Internet. The tool directs HTTP requests through a proxy server implemented in JAVA (Socket Programming) and manipulates the HTTP
headers. Plug-in developed for Mozilla made the application user friendly.
Wi-Fi Survey of Pittsburgh (War-driving)
Oct’08–Nov’08
Gathered and analyzed statistics about wireless networks around the city of Pittsburgh for determining the extent of Wi-Fi adoption
and the wireless security awareness amongst users of the same technology. Study focused on characteristics like SSIDs, network
passwords and type of encryption, collected using NetStumbler, a wireless networking tool.
Security aspects of Biometrics
Sep’08–Oct’08
Compared, contrasted and carried out cost-benefit analysis of various biometric techniques available for authentication. Study focused
on Retinal Scan, Voice Recognition, Facial Recognition and Finger-printing, types of biometric authentication.
