We ask that our students be respectful, be safe, be ready, be responsible and do their best in class. To help monitor, remind, and reinforce appropriate behavior we will be using ClassDojo. ClassDojo lets the teachers offer instant feedback for behaviors that we want to see continue and for behaviors that have room to improve. Students can earn and lose points for actions such as coming to class prepared, hallway behavior, showing respect, helping others etc. We encourage all students to strive for 100% in ClassDojo and want to recognize those who are consistently modeling appropriate behaviors. Student Recognition Daily: students can earn Guerrero Geckos daily for going above and beyond school expectations. The Geckos can be used at PBIS assemblies. Weekly: a raffle will be held weekly and all students are entered into the raffle. In order to earn a prize, your name needs to be called and you must have a weekly average of 80% or higher in ClassDojo Examples of prizes include: Pick from the prize box Use the teacher’s chair for a day Be the teacher for a class period Free time on the computer Have lunch with the teacher **Weekly progress report printed out from Dojo and signed by the parents Homework: Language Arts: Your student should expect homework Monday - Thursday.
