PART – I
Answer any EIGHT of the following in 100 words each:

01. What do we mean by the term ‘creative writing’? Give examples.
02. Bring out of the difference between ‘creative ability’ and ‘creative impulse’ by citing examples.
03. Mention at least 10 qualities of a creative writer.
04. Briefly discuss the rules, tools and techniques of a writer.
05. Distinguish ‘creative writing’ from ‘Imaginative Writing’.
06. Briefly explain how seeing with an ‘inner eye’ differs from seeing with a ‘physical eye’.
07. What distinguishes ‘technical writing’ from ‘creative writing’?
08. What are the various points of view? Give examples.
09. Explain any TWO of the following terms with examples.

10. What is meant by story structure? Explain.
PART – II
Answer any FIVE of the following in not more than 200 words each:

11. Write out an imaginary dialogue between Atal Bihari Vajapayee and Sonia Gandhi on ‘India Shining’ campaign
as poll plank.
12. Freeze a shot of a political stalwart you like in a pen portrait, exploiting at least any two literary devices or figures
of speech.
13. Infuse life into these static statements by turning them into dynamic action descriptions:
a) She is angry b) The weather is fine
14. In an anecdotal form, re-enact one of your memorable childhood experiences, by making use of ‘memory
exploration’ technique.
15. Echo the rhythm of your subject in your style (either prose or poetic) by describing
a) a road-roller in action & b) an acrobatic show in a circus
16. Recast a well-known folk tale by fine-tuning it to suit the taste of the twenty first century read4er.
