6. Any four types of rhyme with an example for each.
7. First person point of view and third person point of view.
8. Metonymy and synecdoche, with an example for each.
9. Symbol and its types.
10. Plot and story.
11. Round character and flat character, with an example for each.
PART II
Answer any FIVE of the following in not more than 200 words each: (512 = 60 marks):
12. Suggest the rhythm of your subject in your prose style, as you describe
a) the first showers of summer
b) a stormy weather slowly turning into a quiet one
13. sketch the character of a person you very much dislike.
14. Reenact a quarrel you had with your brother or sister, in an anecdotal form.
15. Draw a word portrait of an object you liked most when you were a child.
