There are a variety of different approaches to providing feedback in correspondence tuition. The
technologies used by the distance lecturer are changing. For example, paper and pen is being
replaced with keyboard and personal computer. Recent innovation in paper-like technologies such
as Tablet PCs allows the distance lecturer to use a pen input to annotate students’ assignments
directly with their feedback.
