Admission & prerequisites Possession of the University’s minimum entry requirements including in the case of Tasmanian school-leavers TCE *MT730 Mathematics Applied. Course objectives The objectives of the combined degrees are: • • to complement traditional studies in humanities and social sciences with a wide range of management, accounting, marketing and business skills; to broaden the opportunities of commerce students to undertake studies in languages and area studies. Career outcomes Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts–Bachelor of Commerce could expect to obtain employment in accounting, finance, international business, human resource or personnel management, marketing, journalism and public relations, government and teaching. Professional recognition If students wish to be eligible for membership of a professional body they will need to select units endorsed by that body.
