Chair Report
a. I have the Osprey Voice survey attached. We need to approve these questions or
change/add anything before we approve them. The Osprey Voice will be conducted on
July 10th and July 11th. I will also announce it at Senate on Monday.
b. I am working with Faith, our Graphic Designer, to create some Osprey Voice shirts so
that we will be able to stick out when we are on campus doing the surveys.
c. I want to reach out to y’all and see what you would like to change or do differently and
what you want to see from me for the rest of the summer.
d. Roundtable
i. I want to hold a roundtable event in fall and in spring semester. I am thinking a
timeframe after the elections to maybe get more feedback about the elections
and anything else students want us to know and voice their opinions about. Fall
the elections are in October so I am thinking doing the roundtable in early
November and for Spring maybe in late March since elections are early march
typically and that way we don’t run into finals week.
ii. How should we market this and get the word out about the roundtable?
1. Advertise during elections
2. Ask as an Osprey Voice question

a. For the Senatorial Act, I am planning on revising the bill and figuring out an
effective way to monitor the points and the amount of events that would be
mandatory.
b. Lighthouse results
i. 11 senators conducted the survey which is still disappointing.
ii. Question 2- 81 were in favor and 174 against.
iii. Question 3- 168 were in favor and 85 against.
