a. Assistant Director of Club Alliance Confirmation

Matthew Harris: I am a sophomore majoring in History. I have served as a justice and then I was
Attorney General. This may seem curious to you, I did not know Director Dato was going to step
down. I spoke with Katie and then was interviewed by the board and was appointed as the
acting assistant director. I am personally passionate in perusing the large scale. Something I miss
is being able to engage with students. That is something I wanted to experience, and that is why
I applied. Katie has been sick for the past few days; I have had a great experience so far. We
have a bill going up tonight for the club funding.

Senator Harris: Will you still be Attorney General? – No, I stepped down.
o
Senator Guerra: If you are planning on running in this election, how do you plan on
doing this as well? - I know how to budget my time, this position is actually 5 hours less
than Attorney General. I have experienced balancing my schedule. I had no misgivings
about what it entailed.

Senator Harris: If elected president, would you then step down? - Yes, the term would
be up.

Senator Guerra: Why do you feel like this committee should put you forward that
someone who won’t be furthering club alliance? - Katie will still be here, my job is not to
set the vision.

Senator Harvel: Move to approve Matthew Harris as Assistant Director of Club
Alliance. Second. Roll call vote: 4-0-1. Motion passes.
b. Digital Media Coordinator Confirmation

Abby Goetz: I applied for this position to get involved in student government. Throughout high
school I took graphic design courses. At the end of my senior year, I won the art award in
graphic design. I am very precise on my scheduling.

Chairwoman Wollam: What have you been working on so far? - I have been working on
flyers for spring bash and invitations for certain events. I have also been working on
backgrounds.

Senator Harvel: I move to approve Abby Goetz as Digital Media Coordinator.
Second. Discussion. Roll call vote: Motion passes 5-0-0.
