COEHS FACULTY SUPPORT GRANTS
APPLICATION FOR 2015-2016
PURPOSE: To provide assistance for clerical and administrative costs required
for research projects such as data collection, materials, and other small resource
costs excluding all costs related to travel ( except local travel within the
Jacksonville metropolitan region).
ELIGIBILITY: All tenured and tenure-track faculty in the COEHS
AMOUNT OF AWARD: $1500.00
Number of Awards per Academic Year: 2
Due Date: October 30th, 2015
Award Date: November 20th, 2015

The review committee will be directed to evaluate the proposals on several
criteria:
1. Will the research proposed inform practice in the discipline coursework and in
student learning?
2. What is the potential impact of project Goals and Objectives on teacher/school
professional candidates and the students they will teach or in our non- teacher
ed certification programs, outcomes that will impact upon the community
and/or individuals in the area of study.
3. Is there potential for further investigation (creating a research agenda). If so,
provide some information framing future research.
