Proposal to Satisfy the Cultural Immersion Requirement
This form must be submitted and approved before you begin your cultural immersion experience! Discuss your
proposal with your advisor before submitting this form to him/her. Forms are reviewed by a faculty committee
twice a semester, before classes start and when on-line registration begins. Please realize that acceptance of
your proposal by the review committee is a preliminary approval only. After your experience, you are required
to submit written documentation to your advisor with a portfolio of your experience which directly addresses
the five criteria listed in the description.
